Who is responsible

What we store

• Account: email address, password (stored encrypted), date of birth (only to check you are 16+; never shown).
• Profile: name, username, and optionally profile picture, bio, city, country and interests – visible to other signed-in members.
• Projects you create or join, and your role in them.
• Inside projects (visible only to that project's members): chat messages, tasks, events and who is going, progress updates and files you upload.
• Notifications we show you, and reports you send about projects.

Why

Only to run squadmode: letting you sign in, show your profile and projects, let teams work together, send you notifications, and keep the platform safe (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Emails

We send account emails (e.g. confirming your address) and notification emails (join requests, accepted requests, tasks assigned to you, new meetups). You can turn notification emails off anytime under Settings. Emails are sent through Google (Gmail).

Where

Data and files are stored with Supabase (servers in the EU). The website is hosted by Vercel (servers in Frankfurt). Emails are delivered via Google. These providers act as processors on our behalf.

How long

Until you delete your account. You can do that anytime under Settings – your profile, picture and memberships are removed, and projects you founded are deleted with all their content. Messages you wrote in other people's projects stay, but show “Former member” instead of your name.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion and export of your data, and you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at). Contact: togather.team1@gmail.com
